Hualien Agricultural Center and Hsing Chung Paper cooperated together to invent a pulp seedling tray which can be decomposed naturally. After several months of discussion and technical improvement, we launched our first press conference on the “Biodegradable Seedling Tray" in October of 2018.

  

Three features of the" Biodegradable Seedling Tray": 

  •     Saving labor, saving time. 

Using the “Plastic Tray", you need to be planted with manpower, one by one, for hours. The “Biodegradable Seedling Tray" is more effective because it can be used to plant 25 seedlings at a time, planting a 1000 seedlings in less than 10 minutes!

 

  •   Natural decomposition. 

You don’t have to worry about changing the seedlings tray as the plant grows up. The material of the “Biodegradable Seedling Tray" is the fiber pulp which can be naturally decomposed after 30-40 days in the soil!

 

  • Environmental protection. 

Taiwan uses more than 10 million plastic seedling trays a year, produces a large amount of plastic waste. The “Biodegradable Seedling Tray" is made from the fiber pulp which has FSC & SGS certification, and does not cause environmental load!

  

 

The plastic reduction has been a highly environmental protection issue in recent years. With this new product, we hope to completely replace the plastic seedling tray in the future and create a plastic-free environment!
